Shipping Motorhomes, Campervans and Caravans

Coordination flight / ship

There is 1 vessel each week, planned always the same day of the week.

Delays can happen, so it`s good to plan a buffer.

Most customers book their flight several months in advance and book the shipment 4-12 weeks before departure.

Temporary import

Tourists are allowed to use their motorhome in Europe for 6 months without paying any import fees and without any adjustments to technical-regulations (temporary import). If you want to stay longer please contact us.

NO restrictions for right hand drive vehicles. NO Carnet de Passage required.

For an intended stay up to 90 days no visa is required in order to enter the Schengen Area.

To stay longer you must have a visa.  Apply for a visa through the embassy of the country where you will spend most of your time.

Road insurance

To be able to drive out of the port and travel through Europe, you must have a valid European road insurance.

We will give you a contact of an insurance company which insures vehicles from overseas in Eruope.

Dogs and cats are accepted almost everywhere in Europe.

No quarantine is necessary in most countries. Only a few countries like Island have special quarantine rules.

Propane gas and electricity

The vehicle does not need any conversion.

But if you want to use power supply on campgrounds you will need a portable power converter 220 to 110V.

Furthermore gas bottles need a small gas adapter.

Shipping can already pay off for a 4 week trip.

Calculation of shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated according to the maximum dimensions of the vehicle:

Length x Width x Height = Volume

Each centimeter counts. If the dimensions have been altered the price may be affected.

The freight rate is € 57,00 per m³ from the east coast (Halifax / Baltimore) and $ 109,00 per m³ + $ 7,20 per m³  Panama-canal-crossing from the west coast (Los Angeles / Seattle).

What does my motorhome shipping cost?

We can determine the final costs if we know the dimensions of your motorhome and your selected destination, regardless of the direction.

You can enter all the necessary information in our online form. We will provide you with the costs including all fees for your individual motorhome shipping.

safety ?

Luckily theft is very rare on the most frequent route from Baltimore / Halifax to Europe.

98-99% of the shipped motorhomes / campervans arrive exactly the same way as delivered.

From other ports like Brunswick, Los Angeles, Seattle or Veracruz the theft rate is higher, but still not as bad as it often appears in the internet.
